One of the most historical events in UDL history, this event marked many firsts for the league. It marks the first time pilots got their own personal jerseys, assigned colors, professional photos, and a professional video crew to film the event. It's also the first time a belt was awarded to a pilot.
The pilots at this race were the top finishers from the 2023 season. They received an invite to compete and become icons in the UDL community.
This race served as a first opportunity to practice making UDL a commercial event. The processes we learned here have carried over into our other events (such as the giving of belts as trophies), however, we haven't learned everything there is to learn from this event YET. It still serves as a drawing board to learn and draw inspiration from, as well as to polish our presentation. Because of this, this race has not yet been released and the winner, the owner of this belt, still remains a mystery to the general public.
The winner of this belt will be announced and the event will premiere before our next invitational.
